ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

DermaHarmony 10% Sulfur & 3% Salicylic Acid Bar soap was especially formulated for those with problem skin. It is a terrific cleansing soap for acne and dandruff. The uses of sulfur and salicylic acid are many and well documented online—the properties of sulfur and salicylic acid have been known since ancient Greeks times. Our soap is safe for everyday use by adults and children and is good for all skin types.

We've added a soy-derived natural odor eliminator to help control the sulfur smell. This bar smells like sulfur or thiols. Your 'thiol' sensitivity will dictate if you like the smell of this soap or not. Setting aside smell, this is one very effective soap.

Unlike our competitors, our soap DOES NOT contain Tetrasodium (ETDA) which is a derivative of formaldehyde or Sodium Tallowate (made from the fat of slaughtered goats, pigs, sheep, cattle, and horse). DermaHarmony makes natural vegetable-based soaps.

DIRECTIONS

For best results use daily. Work-up a lather using warm water and gently massage into problem areas. Soap should stay in contact with skin for at least 60-90 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because some users experience a drying of their skin when using soaps, start with a small test application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If desired, follow cleansing with the moisturizer of your choosing.

WARNINGS

This product is not for use on broken skin or for internal use. In case of incidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Rinse with water if soap comes into contact with eyes. Sulfur will tarnish sterling silver jewelry.

Removes biofilm on skin!

Does a good job. Removes wrinkles. Gets rid of "biofilm shine" from face. Leaves a matte finish..

Good soap should be cheaper though

I like the soap.
But six dollars a bar is very high.
Considering regular soak cost $.50 a bar.

Why does sulfur & salicylic acid soap cost more than regular soap? Two Factors: Ingredient cost and manufacturing difficulty. There are two other brands of this type soap readily available in the USA. One is made in the UK and sells for $2.83/oz. The other is made in China and sells for $1.98/oz. DermaHarmony comes in at $1.48 to $2.09/oz depending on number of bars you purchase. While competitors have come and gone, we've been here in the USA for 25+ years making soap.

As an aside note, US Mail costs $4.30 to $4.65 for a single bar. Just a few years ago the postage cost was $2.65. We pay for domestic shipping.

Costs have gone way up since COVID.

Clears Acne

This soap has helped with clearing my breakouts after only a couple uses! Will definitely be using this as my regular face soap.

No more cystic acne?

I have a hard time with cystic acne on my inner thighs and under arms and so far I’ve not had any flare ups while using this product. The sulfur smell isn’t fantastic but not having to wear bandages constantly just so my pants don’t rub a cystic zit on my inner thigh is.

Will be back for more

It’s very effective for my face and body without drying me out. I’m super happy with how my skin feels and will be ordering more as soon as I’m low. I use it often but am not going through it quickly which is nice!
