DermaHarmony 2% Salicylic Acid Bar soap is carefully formulated to clear-up acne without excess drying or irritation. You should purchase this soap if you have whiteheads, blackheads, sweat acne, pimples, pustules, papules, cysts, pityrosporum folliculiti, cystic acne, and nodules. Our 2% Salicylic Acid soap is safe for everyday use by adults and children and is good for all skin types. This product is registered with the FDA as an Over-the-Counter (OTC) Drug for treating acne.

DIRECTIONS

For best results use daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. Work up a later using warm water and gently massage into affected areas. Leave in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse well. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Because some customers experience a drying of their skin when using this soap, start with one application and then gradually work-up to daily application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. You may follow cleansing with the natural moisturizer of your choosing.

WARNINGS

For external use only. When using this product, skin irritation and dryness may occur if you use other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product. If this occurs, use only one medication at a time unless directed by a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Nice soap; disappointing packaging.

I was looking for an alternative to the plastic-heavy Neutrogena wares that I’m accustomed to buying. The wrapping on this soap doesn’t offer much of an improvement.

In a few months this bar will also come in a post-consumer content corrugated carton (made from recycled paper). We've been rolling out the cartons this year (2024). The doboy wrapper is made from recyclable (type 5) polypropylene (PP). All of packaging inks and coatings that we use are recyclable and compostable. The weight of the PP material in the doboy wrapper is much lighter than the Neutrogena bottle which means less waste. That said, we here you. It’s a valid criticism.
